The PSC has worked closely with George Washington staff and school leadership to plan for the upcoming school year. In collaboration with community partners, PSC worked to meet the needs of families during the summer months in quarantine. This included sharing resources on social media, responding to families directly, making grocery deliveries, obtaining in-kind donations, attending community meetings, and hosting weekly Virtual Community Conversations about reopening and community concerns for parents. Key accomplishments include delivering more than 100 boxes of groceries to families and receiving nearly 40 donated boxes of groceries and 40 personal hygiene kits for the school pantry.
